Grow giant white radishes that look more like parsnips. This Eastern favourite is still good to eat at 60cm long! Pickle it, add it to stir fries for a little extra bite to the flavour, steam it as a side dish or eat it raw. This versatile veggie, despite its exotic looks, is just as easy to grow as other radishes.

How to Harvest
Check the tops of the roots. They should either be slightly above or just under the soil surface. As soon as they start to swell, you can start harvesting. Simply uproot, wash off excess soil and cut off the tops to keep them fresh for longer if you don’t plan to use them immediately.
