Ordering & Delivery

What are the delivery charges in Australia?

For seed packets: $4.95 Standard, $9.00 Tracked, $14.00 Express. Bulk-seed postage varies by weight at checkout. (Seeds of Plenty)

Do you ship Australia-wide?

Yes. Seeds of Plenty ships to every state and territory with Standard, Tracked and Express options.

How fast do you dispatch and how long does delivery take?

Dispatch in 1–2 business days. Typical delivery from Eltham VIC 3095: Standard 3–5+ business days; Express 1–4 business days.

Do you accept phone orders?

No. Seeds of Plenty is an online-only store; please order via the website.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Major cards, PayPal, Afterpay, Zip Pay, and EFT (ships after funds clear).

What happens after I place an order?

You get an order confirmation email. We pack your order and send a shipment email. Tracked options include tracking. An invoice will be sent with your order.

Can I pick up my order?

No. We don’t offer local pickup; all orders are posted.

I didn’t receive my order — what should I do?

For untracked post, allow up to 3 weeks from postage. Then email support@seedsofplenty.com.au with your order number.

Something’s missing or I’m not happy with my order.

Email us with your order number and details — we’ll fix it quickly.

Where can I find my invoice?

If you have an account, download invoices from the account page. A tax invoice will also be sent with your seed order

About Our Seeds

Do you sell GMO seeds?

No. Seeds of Plenty only sells non-GMO seeds.

Are your seeds heirloom and open-pollinated?

Yes. We specialise in heirloom and open-pollinated varieties. All heirlooms are open-pollinated; not all OP seeds are heirlooms.

Are any seeds treated with fungicide?

Almost all are untreated. A small number from overseas may be fungicide-treated to meet quarantine; those are clearly noted on the product page.

Do you guarantee germination?

Yes — two-year germination guarantee.

How do you keep seeds fresh?

Climate-controlled storage and foil-lined packets to protect from moisture and light.

Planting, Storage & Seed Saving

How long do seeds last in storage?

Most vegetable seeds are viable for 2–5 years if cool and dry. Foil packets help extend life.

Can I keep seeds in the freezer?

Yes. Use airtight, moisture-proof packaging and let packets warm to room temp before opening.

Can I save seeds from Seeds of Plenty varieties?

Yes — for heirloom/open-pollinated varieties. Avoid saving hybrids if you want true-to-type plants.

Wholesale & Special Requests

Do you offer bulk or wholesale seed?

Generally we do not stock wholesale quantities. However — growers, schools and community gardens are welcome to contact us if they have require a wholesale quantity of seed. Contact us with your requirements.

Do you sell Australian native seed?

Our focus is heirloom veg, herbs and flowers; we stock some natives — browse the catalogue or ask us.
