There's something daring and dangerous about the appearance of these warty-looking chillies - and the hot looks are more than skin-deep. Although there's some debate as to whether they're the hottest or second-hottest chilli variety in the world today, we can safely say that they're exclusively for those who enjoy the hottest of the hot flavours. Putting this in perspective, Trinidad Scorpion Chillies are up to 60 times hotter than your average Jalapeno. Handle these red-hot chillies with care! They can even cause a burning sensation when in contact with bare skin. When "hot" isn't hot enough you, Trinidad Scorpion has the sting you're craving.

  • Growing Information

    How to Sow

Growing peppers is easy, so direct sowing is usually fine, but for good control over your germination conditions, sowing in trays is usually a better bet. A light covering soil is all these seeds need. Then water well and only repeat when you see the soil surface starting to dry out.

    How to Harvest

As soon as your peppers look big enough to eat, you can start to harvest them. If you want red peppers, leave them on the vine until they colour up. Cut them off with a sharp pair of scissors, secateurs or a knife to avoid damage to the fruit or the plant.
