Product Info

Do you sell Genetically Modified Seeds?
We do not sell any genetically modified seeds.
-
Are your seeds heirloom?
Yes, many of our seeds are classified as heirlooms.
The term “Heirloom” generally refers to a traditional variety of plant that is not associated with large scale agriculture. People often get this term confused with “Open Pollinated” which refers to plant varieties that when saved correctly should grow true to type.
All heirlooms are open pollinated but not all open pollinated seeds are heirlooms. People continue to breed new varieties and we try to sell both older heirlooms and modern open pollinated varieties like our black tomatoes. -
Are any of your seeds treated?
Almost all of our seeds are untreated.
Unfortunately due to quarantine requirements a small number of our seeds which can only be sourced from overseas are treated with anti fungal agents. We are always endeavouring to find local growers, but this is not always possible.
If a variety has been treated this will be noted in the product description.
