Never was a muskmelon more aptly named. As exuberant as the character from children stories and sporting a tiger-striped yellow and orange rind, this heirloom variety makes a charming addition to your range of homegrown summer fruits and veggies. It's not just a pretty face, either. The fruits are known for their sweet flavour and delicious aroma, and the softball size makes them ideal for picking and eating right away while they're still loaded with goodness.

SSkye JohnstonSprouted on a heat mat in 2-4days, caught me off guard how quickly they popped up. 3/4 seeds sprouted, happy with that. Little baby plants are healthy and growing well. Can't wait to watch it grow through the season, attempting to grow in a pot so hopefully get some nice fruit.
