In the Garden
Ideal as a colour contrast in shrub borders or highly effective when planted en masse. Individually, the flowers are quite insignificant, but in mass clusters they look like a smokey haze covering the plant. Purple fruits adorn this large shrub in autumn. Grow it as a foliage contrast in shrub borders or as a small tree suitable for compact gardens.
Propagation
This species does not mind hot and dry environments and will do well in all areas of Australia apart from the tropics. A great tree for a sunny position that also does well in all soil types.
