In the Garden
A large tree, the Yeddo Spruce can be grown in very large gardens or parklands as a feature tree, however, it is really more prized for it’s ability to be styled into beautiful bonsai specimens. Grown extensively for the production of structural wood and paper this tree can get to 50m tall and have a trunk diameter of up to 2m.
Propagation
Found in cool and temperate areas of North Asia this species will grow well in cooler climates and will benefit from some protection from the sun during the hotter months of the year.
