In the Garden
This Juniper is a small tree native to western parts of North America. It’s a slow growing, evergreen tree with a narrow, pyramidal habit. The adult leaves are scale-like while the juvenile leaves (on young seedlings only) are needle-like, 5-10 mm long. It’s conical, upright habit makes it popular as a garden plant.
Propagation
This variety is cold and drought tolerant and will do well in most soils that are well draining. For best results, grow outdoors in full sun.
