$3.35

A long lived wetland monarch.

This tree makes for an amazing looking thick trunked bonsai that is suitable for formal upright, slanting, twin trunk and group styles. The trunk tends to be perfectly straight and develops a pale-brown, shallowly fissured bark texture with age. In wet soil conditions, Swamp Cypress develop aerial roots known as 'knees' or pneumatophores at water level and this makes them an attractive option for bonsai.
